Regardless of product and complexity, the user gets to the right product with the help of the guided configuration. The technical feasibility of the product is ensured by the plausibility check, which is carried out during the selection of each property.
The dynamic price and text generation including true-to-scale 2D/3D visualization complete the configuration result for a perfect offer presentation.
For the first time, it is possible to handle the configurations of different suppliers in parallel in one software. The user benefits from a consistent and thus familiar user interface, while the individuality of the manufacturers’ product configuration master data remains guaranteed. In addition, the manufacturer benefits from high acceptance due to strong distribution among retailers.
Each supplier is assigned its own moveIT DATABOX in the system. This DATABOX is provided electronically by the supplier and has the bundled knowledge for the configuration and price calculation of the products of this supplier.
The entire product knowledge including rule sets, price calculations and graphical data is stored in the “moveIT Databox” and can be used in all moveIT CPQ systems.
This results in the enormous added value for the manufacturer of data (industry) that the product configuration master data already created or to be created is not only used in a special system, but can be used in all moveIT license products.
The future of distribution lies in making the products offered available to the customer via multiple distribution channels (sales outlet, web store, web portal, etc.).
